Previously, Maastricht University participated in a Read & Publish agreement with Walter de Gruyter and a Read-only agreement with Brill. Following the merger of the two publishers, these agreements have been combined into a single de Gruyter Brill Read & Publish deal.
What does the agreement include?
The new agreement provides:
- Reading access to 707 journals
- Unlimited Open Access publishing in 669 journals
The agreement runs from January 2026 through December 2028.
Access to Journals
- The journals included for reading are available via LibSearch.
- Authors looking to publish can find eligible journals through the Open Access Journal Browser.
