Different storage types available (blobs, disks, file shares, tables, queues), Cloud Foundation will guide you in choosing the correct type for your data. Several performance tiers are available, from extremely fast to very low costs for archive data.

Database hosting (DBaaS) biedt u een database om gegevens voor uw applicatie op te slaan.
Belangrijkste aspecten van de dienst:
Uw database wordt gehost binnen een gedeelde gecentraliseerde serveromgeving van ICTS
Alle hardware en software wordt beheerd volgens de UM Security-richtlijnen, waaronder regelmatige updates van de software en de vereiste beveiligingspatches
Er worden regelmatig back-ups gemaakt van de servers en de database. In geval van gegevensverlies of problemen kan de database worden hersteld met behulp van de laatst beschikbare back-upset
Databases worden gehost op het UM MS SQL database platform.
Dit type hosting is geschikt voor standaard databases die worden opgenomen als onderdeel van een aangeschafte applicatie.

Toegang tot de database vanuit de applicatie op basis van SSL encryptie. Database server wordt door ICTS beheerd op basis van UM Security Baseline voor Servers. Er wordt dagelijks een backup gemaakt met een retentieperiode van 25 dagen.

DLdot is a web-based tool for 1) storing participants’ personal and contact data, 2) safeguarding the study logistics and research protocol workflow and 3) communicating with participants, e.g. for elecontric Informed Consent. Ldot is not suitable for storing research data, but integrates with your other research data collection or storage tools.
