Reserving rooms

Students 
  
You can reserve study rooms in the Randwyck Library. There are 4- and 10-person rooms for group study available. In some of these rooms, movable projection screens are at your disposal. You are welcome to reserve these study rooms using the Room Booking option in the Student Portal. At the Tapijn Learning Spaces 2 rooms, each seating 5, can be reserved, also via the Room Booking option in the Student Portal.
  
Staff members 
   
Only library- and faculty staff are allowed to make a reservation for a computer room. These reservations may only be made for educational purposes, requiring the use of computer facilities.
Reservation computer rooms Inner City Library

The quantity of computer rooms in the Inner City library is limited. Only library and (inner city) faculty staff are allowed to make a reservation, for educational purposes to UM students only.

* Computer rooms 1.213 and 1.213b are separated by a sliding wall; you can therefore also combine them into one big room.

How do you make a reservation? To reserve a computer room you have to contact the Education Office of your faculty, as reservations are made using Syllabus+.

How do you cancel the reservation Please cancel the reservation if you are not going to use the room by sending an email to the Education Office of your faculty and to reservations-ub@maastrichtuniversity.nl

Rules and regulations

  • Library house rules apply
  • Always choose the smallest possible room
  • A tutor or supervisor must always be present throughout the session. The name of this attendant must be stated when making the reservation
  • All participants must own a valid UM login account
  • If a reserved room is not occupied within 30 minutes after the beginning of the reservation period, the room will be made available to regular library visitors

Request for special (non-standard) software In case you want to use non-standard software during instructions, you can request the special software via the service desk of ICTS.  ICTS will contact you about the exact procedure.

Special demo in log accounts If you make a reservation for a guest tutor or students without an UM in log account, you will need special demo in log accounts. Please contact the service desk of ICTS.

  • A member of our desk staff will prepare the room beforehand. Before using the room, the lecturer concerned should report to the desk, where he/she may receive any instruction aids (e.g. a microphone)
