What is PebblePad?
PebblePad is a digital portfolio tool that guides learners throughout their academic and professional learning journey.
PebblePad facilitates:
- longitudinal and programmatic assessment
- recording evidence of growth and achievements by learners
- reflection and feedback
- monitoring learning outcomes and competency development by students, mentors, tutors and assessors
- workplace learning and lifelong learning

Why PebblePad?
This digital portfolio tool supports the UM vision that assessment should be aligned with the UM CCCS principles, is meaningful for the learning process, and is coordinated at program level.
PebblePad facilitates longitudinal assessment, with opportunities for remediation, reflection, and feedback. Additionally, our students and staff can record and monitor growth, learning outcomes and competency development.
Who can use PebblePad?
In 2024-2025, a number of UM programs start using PebblePad in their curriculum across five faculties: FHML, FPN, FSE, LAW and SBE.
UM students and staff involved are informed and supported through their own faculty and program.
Other UM students and staff are welcome to create an account in PebblePad and build their personal portfolio.
